Continuous ad variations for your brand.
Read the words
If you are a direct-to-consumer brand on TikTok or Meta, you already know this. The hard part is never the ad. It is always finding the right creator, getting them your product, waiting on their footage, and then sitting down in the middle of the night, cutting five more versions because the last week's winner just died. My name is Žan and I ran an apparel brand, Not Black and White, and I was the guy exactly in that position. So I built Real Cut for founders who are in that position right now.
I edit every ad myself, and I read every message.
Žan BassaneseReal Cut finds the creators that fit your brand, ships them your product, briefs the filming, and edits everything into new ad variations, continuously. One monthly subscription; cancel at the end of any paid month. If a creator is not performing, we swap them and keep going.
Nothing is charged until you approve the plan.
The work
These are real ads from Not Black and White, the apparel brand I ran — shown as the variation sets they were made in, because the set is what a subscription buys.

Here's what you get. Ad variations cut from real UGC videos ready for TikTok and Meta. What you don't get are AI generated people, products or voices. That is a permanent rule. Real creators, real footage, real cuts.
One voiceover. Seven cuts.
The same Spanish problem-and-solution voiceover, recut across three creators, new hooks and new footage — the testing flow a subscription keeps fed.
One shoot. A bottom-funnel batch.
A single mirror shoot, repurposed into offer cut after offer cut. Footage you already own holds more ads than you have pulled out of it.
The brand layer.
Founder-led pieces from the same brand: discovery, the launch, and the story behind it.
Muted preview. Use the video controls to hear the original ad.
Illustrative preview. Layouts vary by device and ad format.
How it works
- Claim a slot and tell us what you sell — the brief runs self-serve, in writing, from the claim page.
- The founder builds your plan: the creators to cast, the formats to run, and the first month of variations.
- You approve the plan. Nothing is billed until you do.
- Billing starts, the creator budget is approved, and your product ships to the creators.
- Creators film to brief. The footage lands with the founder and the cutting begins.
- Variations land in your client room, ready for your ad account — review, ask for changes, download.
- The loop continues: new cuts through the month, new creators when you want them, a swap when one is not performing.
You receive a delivery window for each batch, in writing, before the work starts.
Who is behind this
I am Žan Bassanese. I ran the apparel brand Not Black and White and did its performance marketing myself. Questions that need my attention come to me.

Two honest things before the offer. Real Cut is new. There are no client logos on this page because there are no paying clients yet. I'd rather tell you that directly than rent credibility. If you want a big team with an account manager, this is not it.
It started in Slovenia. I was a creative student at a creative high school, I dreamed of becoming a filmmaker, and I shot short films as a teenager. At college I started economics, business and marketing — and finished none of them.
I learned the work instead. At my family company, totus.si, I sold woodworking machines as the marketing manager — and I promoted them with video. I built an online course about designing custom furniture in SketchUp for the Slovenian market. None of that sounds like an ad company. All of it was practice for this one.
Then came my own clothing brand, Not Black and White — four years, one designer and me, doing the performance marketing myself: finding creators, shipping product, briefing shoots, cutting variation after variation. Real Cut is that whole loop, run for you. We help you grow, and we grow together — that is the partnership I am looking for.
I am building this from Slovenia, with the stated aim of taking it to New York. The work on this page is from my own brand.
TOTUS.SI PROMO
A video promotion from totus.si — the family company where I learned to sell with a camera.
THE SHORT FILM
The short film from the creative-school years.
THE SKETCHUP COURSE
From the SketchUp furniture-design course, made for the Slovenian market.
Not Black and White on Instagram — the brand is still up.
The ad examples are from Not Black and White, my own brand.
Bloopers
The takes that did not make it into the videos on this page. Same room, same shirt, no avatar.

Hi, I'm Žan and today we're going to talk about this and this and that and how it works. The cost before the working doesn't make much sense, so let's try again. I can do this. Come on, let's go. Let's go. Be serious, Žan, be serious. Okay, yeah, I'm serious, I'm serious. Okay. I get high standards, you know. I'm not particularly happy with so-so versions, you know. I want it to be perfect and I want it to be genuine, because, you know, what I'm talking about is true. I'm not making things up. So, okay, let's try it. Let's try it again.

Questions
- How fast do new variations arrive?
- New variations arrive throughout the month as filming and editing complete. You receive a delivery window for each batch, in writing, before the work starts.
- Is this another UGC platform?
- No. A platform hands you a creator and a video and leaves the editing, the briefs and the follow-through with you. Real Cut runs the whole loop — sourcing, product seeding, filming briefs, editing, iteration — and what reaches you is ads, ready to run.
- What does the subscription cover, and what is the creator budget?
- $4,995 per month covers the work: creator sourcing and casting, filming briefs, product-seeding logistics, and all of the editing. The creator budget is separate, prepaid, and approved by you before anything is spent.
- Why only three brands at a time?
- Because the founder edits every ad himself, and three is the number that keeps that true. When the slots are filled, this page says so and the waiting list opens — nothing is oversold.
- Who does the editing?
- Žan Bassanese, the founder, in the Real Cut editor. Creators film to brief; nobody else touches the cut, and there is no agency layer between you and him.
- How do approvals and billing work?
- You review the plan — the creators to cast, the formats, the first variations — and approve it in writing. Nothing is charged until you approve the plan. After that, billing runs monthly and the work runs continuously.
- Do I own the ads?
- Every delivered file is yours to run. Creator usage rights are part of the plan you approve, in writing, before filming starts.
- What if the first cuts are not right?
- You ask for changes and they are made — iteration is the mechanic, not a favor. Your first 14 days are covered: ask within 14 days of your first payment and 100% of it comes back. First subscription, monthly plan only. If we refund you, usage rights to the delivered edits return to Real Cut.
- How do I cancel?
- Write to zan@realcut.ai; cancellation is effective at the end of the paid cycle. There is no call to sit through and nobody to convince.
- Can my AI agent do this for me?
- Yes. The brief, the plan, the approval, the payment, the room and the review are all available to your agent through the Real Cut MCP, and it can onboard you without opening this page. The connection reference is at realcut.ai/connect.
- Can I talk to someone?
- Every message reaches the founder directly: zan@realcut.ai. Questions that deserve a longer answer come back as a personal video.
- Do I need to be on TikTok or Meta already?
- No. Starting out is fine. The plan says what to run first, and the files land ready for the ad account you open.
- Do you handle the ad spend, or the media buying?
- Not at the moment. Real Cut makes the creative; the ad spend and the media buying stay in your own ad account, under your control.
- Can I pause the subscription?
- There is no pause: a paused slot is a slot nobody can use. Cancel at the end of any paid month and come back when you want; a slot is not held while you are not paying, so check whether one is open, or join the waiting list.
- Do you work with agencies, or only with brands?
- Agencies are welcome, on the same plan and the same terms. A slot is one brand’s work; bring the brand you run, and the plan is built for it.
- I sell software or a service. Is this for me?
- Yes, as long as creators are how you want to market. Most brands here sell a product, and software or a service works when a creator can show it being used. The plan shows the fit before you pay.
- I only sell in one country. Does that matter?
- Not at all. The creators are cast for your market and the briefs are written for your audience; name the country in the brief and the plan casts for it.

If that's useful you can start on realcut.ai. If it isn't you already know. Either way you didn't have to book a phone call or a video call. Both, I mean either.
